Hello class, my name is Shawn Konsky and I am from Miami, Florida. I am a junior at Florida State University majoring in criminology as well as minoring in education. My plan after graduation is to attend law school at Florida International University back in my hometown Miami. Something I enjoy doing for fun is attending music festivals and concerts. In 2022 I saw a total of 26 artist some of my favorites being The City Girls, Future, Travis Scott, and Tyler, The Creator.
Personally I have used many different forms of technology in an educational setting. Throughout high school I used the multiple Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Powerpoint to complete different types of assignments and projects. I also used Canva to make flyers that I would post on my schools Instagram page that I was in charge of my senior year. I hope that through this course I can discover new forms of technology that will help me throughout my academic career.
One of the things that I do for my personal learning network is subscribe to multiple different creators on YouTube who give useful studying and test taking tips. Another thing that I have done for my PLN is participating in study groups outside of the classroom with other members of my class. I find it useful to work in groups to be able to discuss different things going on in the classroom. Study groups can also be a relaxing time to chill and get to know the people in your class.
Hi Shawn, I live about 3 hours from Miami, on the other side of Florida. I saw you've been to a lot of concerts, you're so lucky! I have been to one, I saw Billie Eilish with my dad, it was a pretty cool experience :) I hope I can go to a City Girls or Tyler the Creator concert one day! Hopefully you can see more concerts when you attend FIU.
